Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Not Immolation's Best!
Here we are again. I wanted to review this disk again and give it another chance due to all negative feedback from my first review. The second time around is still not the charm for me. While I really like the new album (Harnessing Ruin) and Unholy Cult, this album is just boring. I saw Immolation live in Sac Town and they can produce a lot of noise on stage. They are a band you really have to pay attention too while listening to their music. I will give 2 stars and leave it at that. That's 1 more ...

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - FAILURES FOR GODS IS A MASTERPIECE
Great follow up to the 1996 Here In After CD. All the songs are killer and the lyrics, and song names are too. Great CD cover and back. The production is dark, and brutal but could be a tad bit better,im still happy with the release. Its still IMMOLATION by all means. Pick it up while you can its going out of print I heard from anohter metalhead on ebay.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - The greatest death metal band ever? Quite possibly!
I whenwho heard this band's first offering I believed that they were the future of the death metal scene. I was also one of those who fretted over the band's disappearence from the scene due to label and financial woes, and in due turn was one of those vindicated when the band returned with Here in After (which was, undoubtedly, a unparalleled high point in death metal history). Again, there was a lengthy wait for this album, and as with Here in After, the wait was worth it and the results completely ...

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Death metal at its finest.
Growling vocals, great lyrics, killer music, what else could you want. With satanic lyrics like "Can you hear us,Death to Jesus" You have to get this if you are a Deicide or Acheron fan.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Immolation - Gods of Death Metal
Well, folks... It's Immolation's best and angriest so far! This album has it all. Blistering speed, monstorous vocals, killer drumming, and blasphemous lyrics. The opening track 'Once Ordained' sets the mood for all the other chaotic tracks. This is death metal at It's absolute best! I've seen these guys live, and they're better! Hail Immolation!
