Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Death Metal Classic
Have had this CD for 10 years and it still get played often. It's the CD that got me into Death Metal & I can't find a much better example.

Track 3 Reincarnation shows Tagtrems skill in making tight 3-4 min death metal tracks. not the marauding nonsense you get from some bands.

Track 6 Is a classic to.

The recording doesn't do justice tracks Apocalypes & Fourt Dimension, the slow booming tracks. These sound better in live recordings, There is a very good recording ...

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Hypocrisy becomes moody - 2.5 stars
Penetralia and Osculum Obscenum are two amazing albums. Once you pop in this disc, you might not recognize them. Keyboards start to become a major instrument in Hypocrisy on this album. Its not used on each song, but it is prevalent. I just cant get into this album as much as their previous albums. There are song good songs, but overall the album just was a disapointment for me.

I honestly cant believe all the 5 star ratings this CD is getting. Imagine Hypocrisy (standard death metal) ...

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - superb...SUUUPERB......!!!!!!!
what an execution... what riffs, what tempo. The man behind it all, peter Tagtgren, the so many times referred to as the mastermind of metal and its genre of death metal!! the f#$% riffs is what kills me im listining to it as i write and man cant get enough words out...oh and the solos, so gracefully created....YOUR MISSIN OUT DAMNIT!!!!BUY It!!!!!!!!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - ...ABSOLUTE MASTERPIECE !!!
If you have never heard anything by Hypocrisy, then you don't know what you're missing out on. This in my opinion is their best release, with Osculum Obscenum, and Abducted right along side. Everytime Hypocrisy release a new CD, you are sure to be surprised. This is the album where Hypocrisy start to make their music heavily emotional, which is not really heard on any death metal release before 1994 (in this quality anyway).
This is an epic album, yet it still retains it's underground traits. This is ...

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - I prefer the latter stuff
Im not a huge fan of hypocrisy,Its not that i dont like them its just not a band that appealed to me largely.I do own a couple of hypocrisy albums and a bunch of Various tracks(that i picked up on samplers and stuff)but i just find this album slightly boring.Ive never been a fan of slow doom/Death style metal and this album did very little to change my mind.
The songs are too long and slow,The album drags and after about 20 minutes i was just wanting the track to end.Dont get me wrong i love my metal ...
