Every one of this band's CD's bleeds pure Death Metal. This one is no exception. Too many blast beats, not enough of this or that ... blah blah blah. I find it hard to believe that all of Krisiun's other releases are all almost 5 star ratings and this one falls short because not enough fans who do think it kicks ass failed to put in the review for the band. These guys are right up there with Nile, Kataklysm, Morbid Angel, Deicide, and more Death Metal giants. Enough said. And don't forget to get ...

why did this album get such a low score, look if all of the other krisiun albums get 5s why not this, it's just more of the same. Blinding speed blast beats, and obvious amount of skill and stamina by the musicians. These Brazilians have definatly earned there reputation. So long story short. If you're even remotely interested in brutal death metal, I recommend you pick this one up, and for that matter, all of the others.

I have had this album for quite a few years, and it has never done a thing for me. Tonight I took it off the shelf, dusted it off, and tried for the umpteenth time to listen to it and see what I've been missing. After all, this is one of the most hyped bands in the death metal scene today. Well I'll tell you what I've been missing all these years...absolutely nothing. Utterly monotonous drumming that never varies from the same lame blast beat, monotone growled vocals, and speeding guitar riffs ...

but I think he was too generous. I can NOT sit through this album. I love death metal, and I love blast beats, but this is just ridiculous. This album has one speed and one drum beat. It is constant blasting and constant double bass, absolutely boring. Now if you are the type of death metal fan who thinks "doood if it has constant blasting that means it's soo brooooootal" then by all means, buy this today. But if your brain is intact, and you like your death metal to actually be MUSIC and not ...

No denying it this is a brutal album, but how does creativity play in... not really at all. This album has a continuous flow to it, but not one of enjoyable structure, it is monotinous. I find that there is to much reliance on blast beats to hold their own on just about every song in this album. As much as I love blast beats, I can't say that they are underused. Blast beats should be able to sustain and bring out the brutal or dark atmospheres in death and black metal. In the case of this album ...
