Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Dew-Scented's classic
With the worldwide release of Inwards on Nuclear Blast in 2002, Dew-Scented made sure that their breakthrough album was a statement of intent. Featuring their best songs and production to date, the album was received enthusiastically by 90% of the thrashers who heard it. The other 10% complained that the other 90% called it thrash when it really wasn't. To these people I wold say this: it is closer to thrash than any other genre. So there.

The album is chock full of memorable songs, ...

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Long live old-school metal
I listened to the samples and was blown away. I felt like a Vietnam vet with all the flashbacks I got of the 80's-early 90's metal scene. I can't wait to buy this disc. If you like your metal the way it should be (intense, brutal, fast and melodic, rhythmic and catchy at the same time), listen to the samples. Do not waste your time in this "nu-metal" or "nu-rock" crap that is polluting the airwaves today. Long live Slayer, Kreator, Destruction, Pantera, etc.. Long live Old-School and the 80's!!!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Good Thrash!!!
This is a great band! They actually stand out compared to the other ...bands that keep coming out. I love the riffs in this cd and the drumming is pretty good too. There should be more bands like this in Nuclear Blast Records. My favorite bands in there right now are Meshuggah, Dimmu Borgir, No Return, Lock Up, and Kataklysm. You should check these bands out.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - inwards
i have seen dew scented compared to the haunted in magazines and on the web. in my opinion, dew scented blow the haunted completely off the map. the haunted sound half hearted and tired in comparison.
dew-scented arent trying to reinvent the wheel here or anything, but with 'inwards', they have released one of the best thrash albums ive ever heard. of course they draw heavy influence from slayer, metallica, etc. you will be hard pressed to find many bands out there today playing with as much ...

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Get Thrash
My rating would be more like a 4.5. This is a great album. If you enjoy bands like Witchery or The Haunted definitely do yourself a favor and pick this one up. The guitar is excellent in this album with riffs sounding similar to Slayer and even The Haunted themselves. The vocals are very cool, also along the lines of something like old In Flames and The Haunted. All around this is a great album and should be enjoyed by most thrash fans.
