Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Otep Who?
One can't help but wonder at all the press Otep has received for having a female singer when Arch Enemy has been doing it for years and with greater skill. Angela Gossow is a fantastic singer, and the musicianship to be heard in this band is, at the very least, impressive. Wages of Sin showcases the entire band at their best with catchy, hardcore riffs, brutal vocals, and high-speed drums. As an introduction to this crew of renegades, Wages of Sin is an excellent investment. As a part of their ...

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - The Best Album of Arch Enemy!
Wages of Sin...What to say about this melodic power/death masterpiece. We will start with Angela. With this album, AE bring a new vocalist to the frontlines. Angela dispells all concern of a female vocalist by dry-barking and growling throughout 100% of the album (no clean singing here). Now we come to the Amott brothers. I being a guitar player, know b.s. guitar work when I see it and let it be known that these two are some of the best lead players in all of metal! Almost anyone can play really ...

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - YES!!!
I love Arch Enemy. This album is one of my favorite melodic death metal albums. Angela Gossow's vocals scare me but I want to learn to scream like that. I really love the Amott brother's guitar playing as well. Ravenous is one of the greatest songs ever. RAVENOUS FOR MORE METAL!!!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Amazing
I first heard of Arch Enemy wayyyyy back when N'Sync was still getting their underserved airplay. Problem is I could not get into this band because of the MONTONOUS Johan Liiva. God Damn he sounds the same in each song, its just wierd. It just never changed, but the guitar work was unparallel and never would be matched again.

Anyways I was sitting in English class watching this dumba** film and the lights were off so my friend put his earbud in my ear and immediately played a song. My first ...
