Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Great technical metal
Since these guys share them same label as Meshuggah, expect more technical melodies and rhythms here.

The production value is wonderful, and the riffs, drums and vocals all come out very strong. Give these guys a listen, I absolutely love them.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - a winner in my book
Okay, I know on first listen these guys may sound like just another nu-metal band or Meshuggah ripoff. If you look a little deeper, though, you'll see there's more to this album than that.

A large majority of the music I listened to when I was younger was nu-metal, so I feel pretty confident in my ability to say (justifiably) that this is FAR too rhythmically technical to be nu-metal. You want nu-metal? Go listen to Coal Chamber or early Slipknot. While this album isn't as complex ...

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Surely the metal scene can do better than this
I have to admit I don't have many nice things to say about Mnemic. To sum up, they're a metalcore/nu-metal band hat also combine a Fear Factory vibe and, uh, 'tributes' to Meshuggah. The truth is they're not really as good as Fear Factory at their peak and suggesting they're in the same league as Meshuggah is like saying that USA and Mexico are as good at football soccer as France and Brazil. Their riffs are nothing to write home about either, some of which sound like blatent Meshuggah ripp offs without ...

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Kicks A$$ on so many levels
Just buy the CD and listen. You won't regret it! 'Ghost' is my personal favorite, but both versions of 'Blood Stained' are awesome too! Long Live Nu Metal!
