Editorial Review:
Album Description: In the roughly four years since their inception, this Orange County outfit's musically muscular intimidation, clearly focused purpose and irrepressible drive has allowed Bleeding Through to savagely claw their way up from the hardcore underground and quickly become a force to be reckoned with across several genres. Bleeding Through has arrived to stake their claim as heir to the legacy of the heavy metal forefathers of yore. Just take one listen to the tightly wound, convincingly proficient, brutally pummeling and absolutely devastating sound of "This Is Love, This Is Murderous" and there'll be no need for further convincing. Imagine the heaviness of Meshuggah, the fierce yet melodic sensibilities of In Flames and the undeniable credibility of Hatebreed, and you may begin to formulate some idea of what this band can do. On the strength of this masterpiece, you'll soon see Bleeding Through's dark, Samhain like image, uplifting and engaging stage persona and blackened and New-Wave-of-Swedish-Heavy-Metal-charged devastation attack your town.
Album Description: 2003 album from Orange County CA outfit, imagine the heaviness of Cannibal Corpse, the fierce yet melodic sensibilities of At The Gates and the undeniable credibility of Hatebreed. Trustkill.

I don't know why many of you give bad reviews to this album the band is brutal, dark, heavy, and just awesome so forget you this band is great. When i think of hardcore i usually think of gay fake metal bands like hatebreed, terror, and all the bands like them who wear stupid silly clothes with those annoying hats who think they are pretty "hardcore",so bleeding through's sound is brutal metalcore with death metal, even though they say they are just a hardcore band but the sound has it's death metal.Get ...

Bleeding Through are a metalcore band hailing from Orange County, CA. They represent the raw, brutal energy that rivals any other hardcore band on the scene today. While yes, most of the songs on this album sorta mesh together, and if you arent "keeping track", you wont even realize that one song has ended or begun. Either way, technicalities like this seem only bothersome to critics and usually are avoided by people just wanting to rock out. The lead singer, Brandan Schieppati, puts his heart into ...

If you grew up in this generation, one of two things probably come to mind when you hear the phrase "Orange County, California":: a) any number of punk and/or screamo bands, or b) that excruciatingly sappy (and now canceled) drama on the Fox Network ("The O.C."). Well, Bleeding Through are from Orange County, but they are neither a punk/screamo band or a group of melodramatic, honey-faced teenagers. They are an intense and hungry young metalcore outfit with loads of potential.

This Is Love, This Is Murderous is, in my opinion, Bleeding Through's best effort to date. It has the best sound, the best lyrics, and best vocals. When I heard this album for the first time about a year or so ago, I couldnt wait for their next. Then when "The Truth" did come out, I was somewhat disappointed. They took a turn in the more generic Metalcore direction. Its more commercial. Sure, its still a decent album, but just not as good as this one. This album doesnt have that. Neither to their other ...

So I really don't listen to this music too much because nothing is valuable to me on this CD. Bands like this are often awesome live, and then you buy this CD, and then you find yourself listening to a few songs off it for a while, and then it phases.
On listen alone, I can't understand the vocalist half the time enough to care what the message is. The musicianship (as with most metalcore albums) is interesting, but molds itself in with other bands. I like the level that they take events ...
