Not really a review, just a quick observation. I love the song-writing and the musicianship on this album. However, this lead singer should never be allowed to approach a microphone ever again. This singer makes it impossible for me to listen to this album repeatedly.
I just can't believe this guy was their best option. What a damn shame!

Damn..............it's all I can say.
I got into these guys back in the 80's with Fabulous Disaster and Impact. Both
great albums, with a great sound! Kind of forgot about metal for along time because most in the 90's stank, big time. Decided to break out "Bonded by Blood", and decided to get some new stuff. "Tempo of the Damned" is just flat out BAD--S!!!. The riffs from Gary Holt are still tight as hell; drumming is spot on double-bass killer; the vocals are slammin'! I will refresh ...

this cd blows you head off from to start.4 out of 5 original members(sorry I'm not a paul bayloff fan (and I exclude kirk hammett for never recording much with them) steve,tom,gary,rick back at it again but more rageful than normal with new bass player jack (one hell of a bass player you can hear him unlike rob). this cd is fast but still a groove jugernaut with the classic exodus hooks and choruses. this is a mondern day master piece of thrash.slayer,testament and overkill the only true standing thrash ...
