Another band that I had never heard before, and they rock! I really like how the switched the timing up during songs, and there was a good flow to the album. Not your typical metal album, and definantly not something that you can say sounds the same all the way through! The only problem that I had with this album which is the same beaf that I have with other bands that do this, why end the album on a wussy note. The last track is watered-down and the only one that I didnot care for!

Well I got this album about two months ago and I was surprised that although this is labeled as metalcore it delivers more on the front of old school thrash than your typical metalcore stereotype. God Forbid are an awesome band, and one of the best modern heavy metal bands out there today. In fact they're also a breath of fresh air from metalcore as well. Gone Forever was my first God Forbid cd, and words just can't describe how much I love it. It has everything: Awesome bloodcurling screaming vocals+clean singing, extreme trashing guitar riffs, badass solos, thumping bass lines, solid double bass drumming, need I say more. Byron Davis has awesome screaming vocals, and his clean singing really ...

Generic lyrics kill this album. Nothing separates this band from so many others that are coming out.
