Average Rating: out of 5 stars

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - best edguy album
Amazing album. Tobias sound a little bit like Bruce Dickinson. Best track Mistyria, We dont need a hero and King of fools.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Best Freakshow Ever!
The first song I ever heard from Edguy was "Mysteria" - I heard the opener "Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to the freakshow!" and then that heavy riff came in. I was like "alright, this sounds sweet" but then when I hear that high pitch vibrato yell from Tobias Sammett with the blasting drums and muscular guitar riffs, I fell in love with the song already. It definitely had me demanding for more from these guys - so I gave the entire album a listen. These guys are just so unique to other power metal ...

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Throw your Linkin Park CD's away
I don't understand the negative reviews. Although I can understand the negative comments on songs like "Lavatory Love Machine" and "Lucifer in Love", the latter is just one of those stupid fillers you don't need.

Other than Lucifer in love, this CD is great.

Meaning of rating:

8 - Unforgettable, this is an all-time classic.
7 - Practically impossible to forget, probably just not famous enough.
6 - You'll play this at least twice in a row on the same ...

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Edguy's best? Then Edguy=not worth my $$
What first strikes me about this album is that edguy is trying waaay too hard to be a classic metal band. Honestly it's out of control here and i find it almost unlistenable. Not because its bad, but because its incredibly generic and other bands do it much better. This album is a wannabe operation mindcrime except much less enjoyable. The lead singer (i'm not going to waste my time seeing who it is) tries ridiculously hard to be dickinson or tate. I feel like i've wasted money hearing something that ...

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Just discovered Edguy - and I'm hooked
This album is excellent. If you like power metal in the veins of Gamma Ray, Iron Maiden, Blind Guardian, etc. then these guys are for you. I stumbled across them while surfing around the 'net and I'm thinking to myself what did I miss all these years! This is true metal. Great lyrics, screaming guitars & rifs and enough double bass drum to tear down the walls. Do yourself a favor and pick up this CD.
