Before Daath (Hebrew word for knowledge) signed to Roadrunner Records, they had a self-released debut which hinted at their interest in experimental-based compositions, defying categorisation. Mainly driven by a trio, the band is primarily the brainchild of vocalist Michael Kameron and guitarist Eyal Levi, both of whom also play a good dose of synths when necessary. The duo is backed by second guitarist Emil Werstler while the rest of the lineup is listed as additional musicians, who have by now ...

i just recently dis discovered this band and i have to say that they rock. they are death metal but with expiremental parts to them. the vocals rock the music rocks. two thumbs up.



Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Excellent production, excellent musicianship
Well, I have to hand it to these guys. The production is excellent. The playing tight, the vocals are tight, and the hooks are perfect. The only thing I have to complain about is the lyrical content. It's not horrible, just a bit cheesy at times.

"If I had a fork, I'd just want to stick it!"

Yeah, ok. But still a good debut, and I'll be looking forward to the next one!
