The addition of Santolla and Owen seemed to reinvigorate this band. I think one could make a strong argument for how much better this band could be without Benton. The Hoffman brothers plus Asheim and Benton is what Deicide is and will always be to me. The Hoffman's riffing made those early albums special. These two guitarists have changed the music for the better but the atmosphere has changed along with it. Benton comes off as more one-dimensional then ever now. Maybe all the musicians should ...

This Stupid Nonsensical noise is absolutely useless. the Real God is Jesus and satan is a joke. I Love My Lord and will stand against this Nonsense. He died for all even Glen Burton. Never fall for satans lying Garbage. Don't buy this junk.

Where are the evil riffs ?
Where is the demented sound ?
If you listen to Deicide for "When Satan Rules His World" or "Serpents Of The Light", you won't find this kind of stuff here.
The music of Deicide is gone with the Hoffman Brothers (guitars). It's obvious that they were the soul of the band.
Now this so called Deicide sounds like tasteless "Techno-Death".
They should change their name.
Keep your dough for the next "Amon" CD, the Hoffman brothers "new" band.

All reviews here tells a lot about the album. I just wanna say: forget Deicide and be open minded. This is fast, precise and melodic brutal death metal. The only new part: melodic... and pretty damn good melodies. Five stars, this album deserves it!
