The best thing about Dew-Scented is that they never stop. There are no ballads here, no serenades, few slow parts even. Just very very tight thrash. If you enjoy seemless transitions, great guitar work over solid drumming, and catchy headbanger riffs, this album will exceed your expectations. As for the vocals: the guy sounds like he is being burned alive. Some people don't like it, but these people are not metal heads. I'm not talking about Iron Maiden when I say metal. I have listened to and purchased many,many, many discs over the years. I keep coming back to Dew Scented and wonder why do I waste my money on other groups? Nothing else compares to their sound and style. Listen to the samplers but understand they DO NOT capture the true power of DS. On Incinerate, they give you 11 songs (plus intro and outro) and a bonus CD with 6 songs. (They must be nuts as I would buy their music with half that.)They moved from producer/engineer Andy Classen to Jorg and Andy Sneap. ...
