The new line up rules, the new singer is great and suits the music perfectly giving it the continued power and fury Exodus is known for. This is no BS thrash metal folks, it's Exodus \m/\m/

I'll start by saying I'm more of a Steve "Zetro" Souza era fan. But Exodus is great, and I'll always give them a listen. They got founding drummer Tom Hunting back, that helps. Bostaph's doing fine in Testament land, it all works out. Rob Dukes isnt Zetro, but his voice fits what they are doing. Shovel Headed Kill Machine is heavy as hell, even if the songs arent as strong as the Pleasures/Fabulous days. Atrocity Exhibition stands out more to me, in terms of the songs, and the stable ...

Never having really listened to Exodus, I always passed them off as a second rate thrash band and never paid any attention to them. Listening to Pandora one day, Funeral Hymn came on and it blew my mind. It was incredibly tight, well written and very well produced. I couldn't believe it! I've read a lot of reviews online, many of which think Shovel Headed Kill ...

I have been an exodus fan since I first heard them in the 80s, one of my favorite bands. they never in their career tried to change in a way that would turn their metal into glam or pop metal to sell albums, like some bands of their generation. all bands have to change some, exodus has changed for the better. any change in band lineup will effect their sound and style. It seems to me theat bad reviewers of this album are probably stuck on the way they used to be and sound, true this is not their same ...

Pretty much an awesome album from front to back. For me the weakest point is the middle 2 songs of As It Was..., and Atrocity Exhibition. The're good songs but for me just don't seem to fit as well with the others. Highlights are Riot Act, Children of a Worthless God and definitely Iconoclasm, all 3 of which will more than get the pits going if/when played live. Can't wait for Exhibit B.
