This is a solid CD. The riffs are chaotic and then all of a sudden the hook kicks in. And let me tell you the hooks are not conventional in any way. You don't even know when they are coming. This is not watered down at all. Song structures are odd and hooks may leave you with a feeling of (where did that come from). What am I saying the whole album may leave you saying (where did that come from). I like metal that tries to be creative. They do the job nicely. This is a good metal fix for ...

Much like Threat Signal, Divinity is a Canadian metal band that plays metal that sounds like it could have been written by a band from Sweden. Bad? No, I like this. It's not the most original music out there, but what is original anymore? If you're just looking for a quick metal fix, pick this up. For fans of Mnemic, Threat Signal, Strapping Young Lad, Soilwork, All That Remains, Into Eternity, and Children Of Bodom.
