Album Description:
Bleed the Sky is a five-piece groove metal/metalcore group originating from Mission Viejo, California, signed to Nuclear Blast. Murder the Dance is the second studio album by American metal band Bleed the Sky. It features a total of 12 tracks, and as well will be issued in a limited edition digipak. Bleed the Sky acquired guitarist Justin Warrick, who helped finish the recording of the album in January 2008.

Musically, this record is worth every penny and then some. It's really too bad these guys got screwed on their production with this record. Christian from FF really blew it. I don't know them personally, but one of my best friends is really close with them and they're good guys. Support this crew and help keep a great band going.
I realize this isn't a pointed musical review, but I think what I said was worth mentioning.

This album by Bleed the Sky is a great example of the new metal that is coming out of America today. A few years ago, I was mostly listening to scandinavian metal bands because I like their style much more but American metal is beginning to evolve and find its new more sophisticated and composed sound. I have Paradigm in Entropy and thought it was a decent first outing. So I was looking forward to this album in hopes that they perfected their style of play. Sadly to say....they didn't. They seem to almost throw away what made them click. (Off clean singing parts). There is less of it here. Not one song caught my ear like Leverage & The Martyr from the last album. The riffs are BLAND and REPEATED over and over again in a song. Sometimes they sound like a shotty version of Messaguh. It just ...

I was very excited when I heard the bleed the sky was releasing a new album, as I loved Paradigm in Entropy. Than the day it came out, of course, I got the album and readied myself for what I expected to be a fantastic listen. As the album played I felt more and more disappointed. What happened? was this the same band!? or did I get some other cd by mistake? Surly this could not be the Bleed the Sky that made Paradigm in Entropy...sadly it was...and is.
