THE TEXTURE AND LAYERING OF THE CONSTANT SYNTHESIZERS MAKES THE ALBUM. AMORPHIS-STYLE FOLK MELODIES ARE AWESOME. THEY COULD HAVE USED ANY STYLE OF VOCALS(OR EVEN NO VOCALS) AND THE ALBUM WOULD BE JUST AS GREAT. I DON'T PREFER RASPY BLACK METAL VOX, BUT THE MUSIC IS SO STRONG IT NULLIFIES THAT FOR ME. TOO BAD MOST METAL BANDS ARE AFRAID TO INCORPORATE THIS STYLE OF SYNTHS BECAUSE IT REALLY FILLS IN THE BLANKS. IF YOU LIKE THIS, YOU MIGHT CHECK OUT THE NEW INSOMNIUM RELEASE,ACROSS THE DARK.

I stumbled on this band/album by accident. Simply put: WOW. Absolutely amazing.
Very melodic but also very fast, intense metal that combines some folk elements with anthemic passages and choruses - and lots and lots of heavy, fast guitar riffs and solos. Production is excellent and crystal-clear; the downloaded MP3 files are far better than the samples on Amazon.
(My) words cannot do this album justice. "Mana" especially is an absolute musical masterpiece.

Equilibrium is amazing, and Sagas was mind-blowing. All the songs are in German, and the vocals are delivered in some of the best black metal shrieks and growls that I have heard. The band also has some of the most epic keyboard melodies that have ever graced the glorious domain of metal. The album creates a heroic adventuring atmosphere that will get you pumped. Equilibrium has done an amazing job blending metal, folk music, and symphonic elements into Sagas.

The print quality is really Awesome i highly recommend this album. (all the songs are in german)

I picked up this album thinking, yeah it might be ok. Boy was i wrong, it's freaken awesome is what it is. It starts out awesome, and then in the second song you are thinking can this song be as awesome as the last? Yes it can, and as you listen through finding out that each song is as awesome as the last you will eventually come to the last song, Mana. This song is gigantic, a massive 16 minutes long, but it isnt repeditive, it keeps changing, like all that the band can do in one big song. The album ...
