Arch Enemy gets a fair amount of attention and publicity due to the fact that they were pretty much the first death metal band with a female vocalist. Fortunately, their music more than lives up to the hype. This holds true for their early, pre-Angela Grossow albums as well, of which 1999's Burning Bridges was the third.
Burning Bridges is probably my favorite of the early Arch Enemy albums, despite the fact that it's the shortest of the three (just 8 songs totaling 35 minutes). The ...

As were approaching the release of Arch Enemy's next album The Root Of All Evil, a collection of classic songs from their first three albums that were re-recorded, Century Media reintroduces two AE classics, Stigmata and Burning Bridges.
