Editorial Review:
Album Description: Deluxe expanded two CD edition of the fifth album from Italy's most respected Rock act includes a bonus disc that contains 12 bonus tracks: three rare songs, three live acoustic tracks and six live recordings. 2009's Shallow Life marked the band's highest Billboard chart entry, as well as the highest Billboard debut in the history of Century Media Records, by impacting the U.S. Billboard Top 200 charts at #16. Shallow Life also went straight into the official album charts in the following countries: Italy, Australia, UK, Germany, France, The Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, Switzerland, Austria, Greece and Japan. With five full-length albums, two EPs, various singles as well as a DVD now to their credit, Lacuna Coil have ensured that each offering further enunciates the subtle, solemn beauty they create.

When the album was released in '09, it got a ...

When you first pop 'Shallow Life' in you think you are hearing another 'Karmacode' but as the CD progresses you can hear a more progressive/melodic Lacuna Coil. Of course Lacuna fans know that the band is melodic but obviously over the last few albums the band has become more eclectic with their ...

I found myself enjoying the bonus disc more than the actual Shallow Life cd itself. This is like getting a double album and the entire 2nd disc rocks! I was not a big fan of this initial release of this, but now I gave it a second chance and I am glad I did. The acoustic performances are amazing!
